Laws Whiskey House, the award-winning Denver-based distillery dedicated to crafting intentionally bold and terroir-driven whiskeys, proudly announces the release of SUPER WHEATER – a high-wheat expression that celebrates Colorado’s distinctive terroir. As the next annual release in the Laws’ ORIGINS Series, this beautifully balanced expression honors the roots of Laws Whiskey House’s history and heritage.

SUPER WHEATER is expertly crafted from hand-selected barrels of Laws Four Grain Bourbon, renowned for its easy-drinking elegance, artfully combined with robust 100% Centennial Wheat whiskey. SUPER WHEATER is aged between 5 and 12 years and bottled at high proof and delivers a harmony of bold flavor and relaxed sophistication blending craftsmanship and unique terroir as well as showcasing the depth and complexity of heirloom Centennial wheat grown locally right in Colorado.

While sipping, expect aromas of shortbread, almond, and orange marmalade, leading to peanut brittle flavors, glazed lemon cake, cinnamon, cardamom, and orange pekoe tea. This spice-forward expression balances sweetness and spice, with subtle notes of lightly roasted coffee. It begins with a sweet introduction and transitions to a dry, long, and lingering finish.

As part of the ORIGINS Series, SUPER WHEATER continues to build on the mastery and legacy that Laws Whiskey House establishes with each annual release. The story of the ORIGINS Series began in 2011 with 28 hand-selected barrels, crafted during the distillery’s first-ever spirit runs. These barrels were marked with a single defining word: “ORIGINS.” Friends and family invested in many of these early barrels, providing critical funding that helped establish the Laws Whiskey House brand. This became the foundation of the beloved ORIGINS Series.

Nearly a decade later, the ORIGINS Series debuted in December 2020 with Barrel #9, a single-barrel expression that was the oldest whiskey released by Laws Whiskey House at the time, showcasing years of meticulous aging and craftsmanship. In 2021, the 10th anniversary was celebrated with ORIGINS Series X, crafted from the last three barrels of the original ORIGINS batch—a release that honored the past while signaling a bold future. In the years that followed, Laws subsequently released INTENTIONS in 2022 and CORNERSTONE in 2023, each expression exemplifying exceptional intricacy and harmony. With every annual release, the ORIGINS Series continues to celebrate the artistry and innovation that define Laws Whiskey House.

SUPER WHEATER retails for $129.99 and is available for purchase at the newly opened Laws Whiskey Sanctuary and in select stores. Visitors to the Denver-based Whiskey Sanctuary will also have the opportunity to sample the three most recent ORIGINS expressions—SUPER WHEATER, INTENTIONS, and CORNERSTONE—in a dedicated whiskey flight ($20), offering a unique journey through the distillery's innovative craftsmanship over time.
