Bourbon and Charcuterie

I just returned from a great vacation and found that whiskey and charcuterie boards can be as good as wine and charcuterie… and maybe better!

BrüMate did a great write-up on how to do pairings, and they seem pretty good suggestions to start with. The great thing about whiskey and charcuterie is that the higher alcohol cuts through the fatty flavors and textures. My next bourbon tasting will be finished with a charcuterie pairing.
